A Very Successful Bull Roast 2009!
The 2009 Bull Roast was held on Saturday, October 3rd, at High Point Farm in Clarksburg, Maryland. We are grateful to everyone who supported this event, for a beautiful day, to the Gonzo Cowboys’ band that provided moving live music, and to High Point Farm’s staff for the excellent service and the delicious food. With over 165 in attendance, this year’s Bull Roast fundraiser realized a 28% increase in profit over last year’s event, greatly due to our caring, generous supporters. Proceeds totaled over $14,650. A million thanks go out to everyone who made this year’s Bull Roast a great success! We would like to express our appreciation to the members of the Bull Roast Committee: Julie Caple, Lisa Daigle, Lois Geller, Lynera Gregory, Bonnie LaPlaca, Poppy Strickland, Bee Jay Thompson, Ann Toblin, and Wanda Walters.
